Goal:
Organize the household. Simplify the mess by purging the
unnecessary. Declutter to the point of easy clean & appealing looks.
My lofty goal is to have gone thru the entire household within a month. And then to maintain beyond that.
Day 1 Update.
My assistant came in the afternoon for work & said she has never seen the room so clean. Clean isn't the difference, it's vacuumed, windexed and wiped walls all the same as it has always been. Clutter is the difference. Rid the clutter, things look better.
I'll consider it a success, even though there is more I want to do in there.
And my desk area doesn't count, because well I'm just not up for that quite yet.
And I jumped in early on decluttering my stress. Who needs 500+ friends?! Not I, I will take the very select few who have been there and are there still for myself and my family. Thank you to those who really put that part into perspective yesterday, it made that step so much easier. FB is gone.
Day 2 Goal:
Simplify family fun. We aren't going to be home much today and minimalism isn't only about materials. Today we are just going to hang out, and enjoy each other & the friends we have that invited the munchkins to their pool. Less stress, that is the ultimate goal achieved in this all.
