Goal:
Organize the household. Simplify the mess by purging the unnecessary. Declutter to the point of easy clean & appealing looks.
My lofty goal is to have gone thru the entire household within a month. And then to maintain beyond that.
Day 1:
Playroom attack.
Technically I started this yesterday. I know I can't get thru all of my unorganized piles of paperwork that have been shuffled around for months, so I boxed it up & will sit it in my closet with a specific day to attack it later this week.
Today's plan. Clear off shelves completely. Only replace the necessities and trash the broken toys or give away the outgrown.
The playroom is a hotspot, it's just off the garage & things get dumped. Become a hardass is also in today's plan. Anyone who drops their stuff when they walk into here, now gets one chance to pick it up, then it heads to a trashbag (because I'm a mean mom like that.)
My plan is to come back the following morning & update how things played out the day before. And because cleaning life will be simpler, I shouldn't have an excuse to not have time to update! ;-)
